What will we be doing?
Starting at 1 pm, we will be having an informal time for everyone to get to know each other and welcome new visitors.
Then we will transition to opening our Bibles and doing a study on this week's topic or we may have someone in our group share a testimony or something they learned from the Bible or got in answer to prayer. (We love testimonies!)
After the Bible teaching, we have a discussion and answer questions. We wait on the questions because many times, people already get the answer from the Bible or someone's testimony. This let's them know that God is very interested in helping them and that we aren't the focus of the meeting as leaders or the ultimate experts.
During the meeting, we are ready to pray for people who need physical healing or other problems they would like a prayer of agreement with.
We often see immediate and complete results, if not, we keep learning what else we can do to help things along.
This is an Africa Style meeting- Bring a Bible, chair and a drink if you can. We do have extras.
Right now, we don't have children's class and we prefer they join in.
This week's planned lesson
In the Beginning | Financial Abundance for Beginners
Welcome to the beginning of a transformative journey as we lay the foundation for Financial Abundance For Beginners. LESSON 1: THE ORIGINAL ABUNDANCE PATTERN, a critical study that establishes God's unchanging intention for prosperity in your life.
We must first confront and dismantle the common misconception that struggling financially is spiritual or that God is reluctant to provide. The foundational truth we establish is that God created abundance first. Poverty came later.
This first lesson centers on the creation mandate found in Genesis 1:26-28. This passage is not merely the story of man's creation; it is God's blueprint for how money and resources should operate under divine authority. Understanding this original design fundamentally changes our approach, causing us to stop begging God for what He already gave, and start learning how to operate the blessing God built into creation.
In The Original Abundance Pattern, we will explore several powerful, foundational concepts:
- The Image and Likeness (Tselem): We discover that being made in God's image means we carry His capacity for abundance, creativity, and dominion. If God lacks nothing, man—made in His image—was designed for abundance, not scarcity.
- The Blessing (Barak): We learn that God blessed humanity before giving the dominion assignment. This blessing (barak) is defined as supernatural empowerment for success, not merely good wishes or favor.
- The Dominion Mandate: God delegated complete authority to mankind over all the earth, including its resources and financial circumstances. We were commanded to be fruitful (parah), multiply (rabah), fill the earth (male), subdue (kabash), and have dominion (radah). This dominion authority explicitly includes economic matters.
- Creation of Wealth: We note that valuable resources, such as gold of high quality and precious stones, were part of original creation design. This truth confirms that material prosperity is part of God's original good design.
This foundational lesson establishes the core principle: prosperity is God's original design. By embracing this truth, we are equipped to take our assigned position, exercise our authority, and operate in our Genesis inheritance through faith in Christ.
Prayer Time:
While we are at the US and Canada border each time, we pray for the leaders of both Nations, the people living there, any urgent situations Internationally and any specific situations we want to agree on.
If you are attending the meeting, we are always ready to pray for you to get healed, give your life to Jesus or get help from God for any situations.
Due to being older and having God help us with a very long list of difficult, heartbreaking and 'impossible' situations, we have enough faith to assist most situations with high confidence.
We also pray for other churches, evangelistic meetings and any prayer requests from ministry partners or people who have asked for group prayer.
Prayer changes things!
